Rest symbols in music tells you how long you should stop playing. These are moments of silence that need to be measured correctly, just as the sounds do. In other words, signs which show the length of silences are called rests.
For today's entry, I would like to introduce to you different types of rest symbols and their time value. This is an important topic as it will be used throughout music learning.
